Is Islam To Blame

I am honored to have the privilege to share with you the following article. It is written by DrDeb who I hope will become a regular contributor here at TheCivilVoice.com. DrDeb is a much respected friend and an inspiration to any that have the opportunity to know her. I’m sure you all will enjoy her thoughtful perspective in this article as we explore “Is Islam To Blame”.

Last night Omar Mir Seddique Mateen shouted “Allah Akbar” and over 100 people were either shot or wounded at his hand in Pulse, the Orlando gay night club.

Is Islam To Blame OM1

Is Islam To Blame

Mateen was a Muslim, American-born, with Afghan parents. He had been married at one time, had a three-year old son, and divorced his Uzbekistan wife in 2011.

His ex-wife is already conveniently commenting that “(h)e was not a stable person,” stating that he would come home and start beating her simply because the laundry hadn’t been completed.

According to TheReligionofPeace.com, an article by James M. Arlandson on Domestic Violence in Islam, The Quran, and countless Google sources, a Muslim man is free to beat his wife when she disobeys him.

So Mateen’s wife’s failure to complete the laundry as he wished did not make him ‘unstable,’ but simply a Muslim man following his religious prerogatives.

I point this out because within less than 24 hours the killer’s wife came forward to claim he has mental issues.  Furthermore, ABC reported that at 2:20 p.m., June 12, 2016, Obama responded to the shootings with these comments as paraphrased by ABC:  “the worst mass shooting in U.S. history is a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get a weapon that allows them to shoot people in a school, in a house of worship, a movie theater or a gay nightclub.”

Is Islam To Blame – No It’s Guns To Blame

Notice Obama’s immediate shift to the gun as the issue rather than the man. Someone who is intent on killing is going to use any weapon they can, whether it’s a gun, a knife, fertilizer and ammonia, or their bare hands.

ABC further paraphrased him saying, “the United States has to decide if that is the ‘country we want to be.’ He says that doing nothing is a decision as well.”  Obama also said the shootings were “an act of terror” and an “act of hate.”

The liberal media, the White House, Democrats and those drowning in political correctness, have already started constructing the killer based on those parts of his background that lean in any and every direction, other than his Islam religion, as the cause of his heinous actions.

They will avoid at all costs his Muslim faith as having any measure of responsibility for Mateen’s decision to kill gay and lesbian people. Mateen’s Muslim faith is not based on the presence or lack thereof of weapons as Obama would have us believe.

Is Islam To Blame – What To Do About Non-Believers

Islam is a radical religion in and of itself and demands believers be devout followers or face severe and drastic consequences.

The left will point out the guilt that Americans should have for not having strict enough laws, or not being open-minded enough, or failing to accept differences. Or, they will come back to any conservative values they disagree with and promote these as the root cause of the deaths and injuries of the night club revelers rather than seeing that Mateen’s Islam religion is the basis of his hate.

There will be no focus on that. I guarantee that Christianity will somehow be called into question in some manner rather than saying anything about Islam wherein the Quran clearly calls for non-believers to be dealt with in very negative ways.

 Is Islam To Blame – Divert Attention To Conceal The Truth

What will be happening with this unspeakable crime, as has happened with similar killings that involved Muslims, will be the diversion from the truth and the real causes for the Orlando slaughter.

It is not PC to mention that Mateen is a Muslim and the power his faith had on him.

Of course, this is of tremendous concern since the government is letting so many Syrian Muslim refugees come to this country as well as the growing Islamic population that is already living here.

Is Islam To Blame – They Refuse To Assimilate

Islam is not a religion of assimilation, and, in fact, does all that it can to weaken any and all other faiths that exist in the countries that it works to expand in.

Look what’s happening in Europe. Muslim mobs are out of control in many countries, with women particularly endangered by Muslim men who find non-Muslim women to be ripe targets for subjugation and abuse for their “inappropriate” dress or behaviors including being out alone or with other women.

Is Islam To Blame – Sharia Law

Multiple countries including England, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and others have allowed Muslim Sharia law to take precedence over their national laws in certain parts of their countries, which is a gigantic indicator that millions and millions of Muslims have not and will not assimilate in the countries they occupy.

Sharia Law In Europe gives a great description of what’s happening in parts of Europe and other parts of the world as well.

And the same thing is happening here in the US, with Muslims pushing for the advancement of Sharia Law wherever they can and many states fighting back by passing anti-Sharia laws to ensure Sharia can never have a place in our legal system.

Obama has secretly supported the global Islamist militant group called the Muslim Brotherhood, Gertz Expose: Pentagon docs show Obama supports Muslim Brotherhood, and adamantly refuses to admit that Islam purposefully drives followers to be loyal to Muhamed, up to and including torturing and killing non-believers, and all the while, systematically working toward taking over in every respect any communities or countries Muslims migrate to.

BILLIONBIBLES.ORG reports: “The Muslim Brotherhood’s Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), has penetrated the highest levels of the US government.

The White House now has a White House Muslim Advisor, who has counterpart Muslim advisors at the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, whose Senior Fellow, Mohamed Elibiary recently declared that USA is an “Islamic country.”

I’m sure that among criminals you will find members every of religion.  But Islam demands that believers obey and act.  And that is what Mateen did.

Obama’s paraphrased comment “the United States has to decide if that is the ‘country we want to be.’”

That’s a decision I don’t have to make because I’ve always believed in the “good” America, the historical America, an America where her citizens and all those who choose to join our ranks:

  • Don’t burn her flag;
  • Believe in being responsible for their own lives and well-being;
  • Don’t ask the government to take care of them because they take pride in working as many jobs as it takes to take care of themselves and their families;
  • Respect every man or woman’s hard work, initiative, or creativity that made them rich or better off, and look to such people as role models not as enemies;
  • Believe in doing what’s right for the country and her people as a whole;
  • Believe laws serve a purpose and are meant to be obeyed and take pride in doing so;
  • Have the opportunity to be all they can be based on following the rules and being a contributing member of American society;
  • Recognize that the greatness of America is based on the founding fathers’ belief in God and the role God plays in our Constitution and our lives.

Is Islam To Blame – America In the Crosshairs

It is Obama and those who choose to ignore the core reason for Mateen’s murderous actions, who are changing this country from the one we want it to be.

We’d better start getting involved before America is totally lost to the insanity and destruction that people like Obama, Hillary Clinton, and their followers doggedly try to force down our throats and into our lives every moment of every day just as Muhammad forcefully influences his followers to destroy non-believers.

Mateen and what he did exemplifies Muhammad’s “ideal” follower when it comes to infidels of Islam.  How many more “ideal” followers are sickened by America’s heathen ways and live here already?

Can we afford to ignore this? What do you think?

No matter how many words are written, theories or opinions expressed, none could ever convey the terrible sorrow, loss, and brokenness the families and friends of all the innocent victims are experiencing in this unspeakable tragedy that has resulted in the deaths and injuries of their loved ones.

Please know that our hearts are heavy with your grief and we are praying for God’s grace, courage, and strength for each of you as you struggle to cope with this devastation.

DrDeb

You have certainly given us a lot to consider here DrDeb in Is Islam To Blame. Thank you very much for your perspective. I fear that we can no longer ignore the potential for more “ideal” followers as you mention.

The big question for me is how do we as a Civil society deal with these most UnCivil persons, acts and ideologies. In a land of religious freedom, how can we protect the civil population from an uncivil religion?

I join you in prayer for the families and loved ones of the victims of the massacre in Orlando. God bless them all, each and every one.

Sincerely,
Tom

  1. I have been following the Obama and gun law for a while, I’m from the UK so sorry for my ignorance but is the a constitutional law for Americans own a gun.

    Something to do with no government should have all the power?

    It seems like Islam is being blamed for everything even here in the UK its almost like Islam (muslim) is a race and not a religion anymore the way they refer to them.

    When I white child walks into a school and lets fire the KKK aren’t to blame or white supremacists.

    Can i ask are you for guns or against them.

    1. Hi Steven!

      Thank you for visiting TheCivilVoice.com and for your comments regarding Is Islam To Blame.

      The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution states: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

      There is continuous and contentious debate as to the meaning of this statement. If you read documents from the time of the founding fathers of our country, it seems clear that this amendment was created to allow the citizens to protect themselves from a tyrannical government. Such was the case during the Revolutionary War.

      Some people believe that we have a tyrannical government that is NOT currently operating with the best interest of the people.

      The second part of the phrase “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” seems pretty clear that the people shall have the right to keep and bear arms regardless.

      It doesn’t indicate a type of arms, nor does it imply any limit to type or number. Any limitation could be seen as an infringement, and that is clearly not acceptable.

      In regards to my personal position on guns, I believe in the 2nd Amendment. And, as with all our rights, given to us by our creator, and to be protect for us by the government which we have instituted, they should not be infringed, altered, manipulated without consent of the people as is required in our constitution.

      Thank you again for your comment! I look forward to more engaging discourse with you!

      Sincerely,
      Tom

  2. Hi Tom,

    Thank you for educating me on the history of America, this is something that is very fascinating to me as regardless if you like history or not, knowing America’s history and politics affect the whole world

    I Believe America set world presidency. There is speculation that mine and your government are quietly and slowly becoming a tyrant nation, not the tyrants you see in Africa and middle east a more subtle form of control what’s your position on this

    1. Hi Steven!

      Thanks again for visiting TheCivilVoice.com and for your continuing discussion.

      Glad I could help you out with our history! I’m very happy to be of service in this regard so feel free ask whatever you like. To me the best way to find out about a place is to talk to the people that live there. I would have several questions for you about your country and government given the opportunity.

      I’m not sure what you were referring to regarding America setting world precedence, But I can tell you that when the United States was founded, it was considered by the rest of the world as an experiment in democracy. No other country on earth had a similar government “of the people, by the people, for the people.” Many expected the experiment to fail. Some still think it will and the verdict is not in yet.

      There is indeed speculation that our government here is tyrannical. When our president, as an example, chooses to impose his values on the people with the stroke of the executive pen or the creation of rules by his administration that have the same effect as law, with the proper process for creating law which includes both the Senate, and the House of Representatives. These actions are not within the guidelines of the constitution and the people feel they are losing their rights to self governance. That could be one way to describe a tyrannical government, at least in the case of the United States.

      The electoral process is the people’s method of correcting the path when they feel the country has gone astray .. Here that is …. What is the remedy where you live?

      Thanks for the response! I look forward to your comments!

      Sincerely,
      Tom

  3. I totally disagree with the move to allow thousands of Syrians into America because the terrorist will surely find ways to take this opportunity and come into America legally. It is not wise to help other people while endangering your own citizens.

    1. Hello Axton!
      Thank you for visiting TheCivilVoice.com, and for your comment regarding “Is Islam To Blame.”

      I would like to say that I have the heart to allow refugees from war torn areas to have the opportunity to come to the United States.

      Of course allowing anyone in the country, refugee or not, should be done through a system that gives us the best opportunity for safety and security in our nation.

      Just like you would want to know “any” individual allowed to enter your home. The borders our our nation are the same as the front door of your home.

      I also believe that there should be a question of is this a temporary visit, be that as a refugee, tourist, student, etc… Or, is it the intention of the individual to reside here permanently.

      I believe that if there is an intention to live in the United States permanently, there there should be a clear path to assimilation of our culture and laws of the land, and an educational and vetting process leading to citizenship.

      If a given individual is unwilling or unable for any reason to become a citizen and or assimilate to our culture, laws, etc. Then they should be deported to where they came from.

      I believe that we need to have a way to protect ourselves from a war of ideology that has persisted for thousands of years.

      Thank you again for your visit and your comment!
      I look forward to talking with you again!

      Sincerely,
      Tom

  4. A lot of information here I see your are very informational about this and have done a lot of research on it. But I myself say no Islam is not to blame.

    The real ones to blame are the Rockefeller’s and Rothschild’s they are the cause of all the corrupt things that go on in this country. Money is power.

    1. Hello Heathguy,

      Thank you for visiting TheCivilVoice.Com and for your comment regarding “Is Islam to Blame.”

      I’m not sure how the “Rockefeller’s and Rothschild’s” relate to to the article.

      This article explores how Islamic ideology may be at fault in the events in Orlando as well as various other acts of violence that are prevalent around the world.

      Thank you again for your visit and your comment!

      All the best to you,
      Tom

  5. Hi Tom,
    I would like to believe that islam is a peaceful religion, for many muslims in the world they are. But unfortunately there are groups of muslims, and they are big enough to create trouble, violence and terrorism throughout the world.
    There is a saying “Not all muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are muslims!” Well to certain extend this is quite true.

    1. Hi Stan!

      Thank you for visiting TheCivilVoice.com and for your comment regarding “Is Islam to Blame.”
      I too would like to believe that islam is a peaceful religion, but, it seems that there is far too much evidence to the contrary. It appears that to be a devout muslim means that you must require things like sharia law in your community. Sharia law is an affront to all things civilized. It is just not how we in the civilized world believe that things should be handled. So, how can a civilized society permit this perspective to have any credence? I don’t know that it will ever be possible. It is truly a clash of ideologies.

      Thank you again for visiting the civil voice!

      Sincerely,
      Tom
